Diana Amati has a remarkable story with very humble beginnings. She was abandoned as a baby in Northern New Jersey by her birthmother who was on drugs, had no father, ended up going into foster care, and felt unloved, unwanted, and hopeless throughout her childhood. She was eventually adopted by Christian parents who recognized and fostered her gifts in music. Diana had a difficult childhood, went through different schools, felt like a failure, and finally became saved by the grace of God at age 15 where she found hope in the Lord. It was through listening to gospel music where she found peace and comfort in the lyrics and found the message of hope through the redemption of Christ. She learned that despite being abandoned by her earthly parents, that God is her Heavenly Father who loves and cares for her deeply and her life has meaning. Diana's life began to change after becoming saved, and she started studying privately with teachers at Mannes College of Music in NYC as well as abroad in Italy, where she began having an operatic career. It was when she returned to the US for a visit with that she met her now husband, Marcos, and decided to marry and settle down to raise a family in Northern New Jersey, where they now have two beautiful children together. Although Diana still has a love and passion for opera and maintains a private teaching studio, she focuses a lot of her time on being a stay at home wife and mother, and works through her ministries in service to Christ and her community.

Diana is a conservative Christian and is a strong pro-life and adoption advocate. She is mixed of Italian and African heritage and stands against the racist policies of Planned Parenthood which overwhelmingly affect minority families. She advocates for Christian adoption, which saved Diana's life and gave her hope for a better future. She is currently working on producing a gospel album as well as a devotional for children from broken homes, to help them know that they are not alone and have a Heavenly Father who loves them and will never leave them nor forsake them. Diana Amati is an example that no life is beyond God’s reach, that He cares about the lost and abandoned, becomes their father, and calls them his own as a Child of God.
